It's with great honour that we're announcing grants of varying sizes awarded 20 times per year as well as up to 50 no-interest loans awarded on an annual basis. We are launching 8 free online camps per year in conjunction with this new effort that prospective students can apply for.
First grant/loan approval considerations will be prioritized for applicants that excel at online camps, or are existing students that are already grading high.
Happy new year, here's to 2024 being your year! We've kicked off the first full online curriculum for a select entry of new students and look forward to making it accessible to even more through grants/funding as the year continues. While our next full curriculum will not begin again until July, we will initiate more startups in the interim.
Keep an eye out for online course camps and speak to our admissions team about a la carte courses and/or customizing a smaller curriculum to begin your audio education ASAP.
We even plan to offer grants/funding to make the content more accessible to aspiring engineers around the world with basic or advanced home recording setups. Touch base with our team to create the most relevant path for your success as an online audio student.
It will even allow remote students online studio time at even cheaper costs. IOMR will look to provide musicians for remote sessions, allowing online students to stream in and produce their final projects from afar at phenomenal rates as well.

Recordings will take place at "The Recording Factory" in south east Etobicoke, ON, though mixing and mastering can take place remotely or on location by band request.
The Institute of Modern Recording specializes in affordable audio production training and one-on-one style mentorship.
With remote and in-person options available, we concentrate on extending old school studio assistant training in a modern refreshed format. Physical studio workshops take place at "The Recording Factory", located in Toronto, ON (Canada).
